Warranty Conditions and Terms of Service for Furnace, Boiler, Gas Fireplace and Tankless Water heater installations

15 years Parts Only, non pro-rated Warranty (Labor is not included) means:

For the next 15 years, provided annual yearly service is performed by an authorized PGHS contractor/gas fitter, ProGas and Heating Services will provide free replacement part(s) for said appliance at no charge to you our customer. You will still have to pay the service call out fee plus labor for the replacement of the part(s).

3 years free Emergency Call Out (e.g. $250.92 fee is waived) means:

For the next three years from the date of the installation, if your appliance breaks down, you will not have to pay the call out fee of $250.92.

Please note: free service call out(s) for three years does not mean free annual Gas appliance warranty service and is reserved for breakdowns only.

1 years Price Protection means:

For 1 year from the date of installation of your appliance, if you provide us a cheaper price quote from a competitor for the same product and warranty,  including the installation, PGHS will reimburse you the difference between what you paid us and the cheaper price quote of the competitor. Additionally, we will beat the competitors quote by $50.00

Please note: The quote must be on the competitor’s stationary bearing the name of the company. PGHS must be able to verify the quote with the  competitor to ensure validity.

Conditions

1 Annual Yearly Warranty Service must be completed on or before the anniversary date of the installation; failing which the warranty will suspend until service is complete and any repairs during the suspension period, will not be warranty/covered in any way.
2 Repair warranty call outs do not substitute for Annual Yearly Warranty Service. Annual servicing is still required yearly on or before the anniversary date of your installation.
3 If Warranty Service is not completed by the anniversary date of your install, the 15-year Parts Warranty will 1st suspend and shall cancel 30-days thereafter if service is not completed.
3 Unless otherwise stated annual Warranty Service of the appliance is not free and shall be charged accordingly.
5 All Warranty service must be done by a duly authorized PGHS gas contractor or warranty is cancelled.

Warranty does not cover the following circumstances:

  • 3RD party damage | Negligence causing damage to the appliance
  • Vandalism or Tampering
  • If the warrantied part was damaged because of the failure of another part not under warranty
  • Brown outs or Power disruption causing damage.
  • Water damage
  • Earthquake
  • Rodent damage
  • Fire Damage
  • Acts of God
  • Serviced by another company.
7 PGHS does not refund customers or warranty repairs/parts that were completed by other companies.
8 If you have another company service an appliance for which PGHS holds warranty for, this will automatically cancel said warranty and you will have to get the appliance recertified at your expense by an authorized PGHS representative to reinstate PGHS warranty.
9 Part(s) must have ceased operating to qualify for warranty replacement. You can not replace a part simply because it looks worn or it may fail, its noisy or otherwise showing wear. The part must have stopped working.
10 Parts warranty only applies to the new items we installed and for which you paid a fee. In other words, If you had a new Boiler installed and we used your existing expansion tank with the new Boiler, there would be no warranty on the expansion tank.
11 Parts warranty does not include the Service call out fee of $250.92 plus tax, labor, and pickup or shipping fee’s
12 If vandalism or tampering is determined, warranty is void
13 Warranty stays with the appliance in home and is transferable between old to new homeowners

Warranty for standard atmospheric Hot Water Tank Installations

10 years Complete Replacement of the Tank, Parts and Labor means:

Valid for 10 years from the date of installation; provided annual yearly service is performed on the Hot Water Tank by a duly authorized PGHS contractor/gas fitter, ProGas and Heating Services will provide free replacement of the Hot Water Tank part(s) and Labor included at no charge to you our customer. However, you will have to pay the service call out fee.

Conditions

1 Yearly Warranty Service of the Hot Water Tank must be completed on or before the anniversary date of  installation, failing which the warranty will suspend until service is complete and any repairs during the suspension period will not be warranty/covered in any way.

3 If Warranty Service is not completed by the anniversary date of your installation, the 10 years complete replacement of the tank, parts and labor with cancel.
4 PGHS does not refund customers or warranty repairs/parts that were completed by other companies.
5 Annual Warranty Service of the Hot Water Tank is generally free, as long as we are servicing another Gas appliance in your home at the same time and you are paying a fee for said service.
6 All Warranty service must be done by a duly authorized PGHS gas contractor or warranty is cancelled.
7 If you have another company service the Hot Water Tank, PGHS will automatically cancel said warranty and you will have to get the Hot Water Tank recertified at your expense by an authorized PGHS representative to reinstate PGHS warranty.
8 Prior to replacing the Hot water Tank PGHS reserves the right to replace parts which must have ceased operating to qualify for warranty replacement. You can not replace the Tank simply because a part has ceased working, there must be a catastrophic failure.
9 Warranty does not include the Service call out fee of $250.92.
10 If vandalism of tampering is determined warranty is void
11 Warranty stays with the appliance in home and is transferable between old to new homeowners
   

Getting warranty back after using a different company or I missed service,  my warranty cancelled

1 In order to reinstate warranty PGHS must recertify the appliance to make sure there is nothing wrong with it. Only after a successful inspection will the warranty be reinstated.
2 If during the inspection, repairs are required, such repairs, parts and labor will be at the customers expense and only upon completion of said repairs and further satisfactory inspection will the warranty be reinstated
3 Providing there are no issues the charge to recertify the appliance and place it back into warranty is $275.00
